KEEP THE LIGHT ALIVE

Some gardens grow flowers.
We are trying to grow something in humanity.

Garden of Awakening began quietly—in a private Amherst backyard, with a belief that perhaps a garden could grow more than roses and hydrangeas.

Perhaps it could grow wonder.

Perhaps it could plant wisdom, love, beauty, poetry, freedom, courage, and hope in the people who walk through it.

So we began building something unusual.

We brought Socrates beneath the trees.
We gave poets a place to speak again.
We hung wisdom among the branches.
We created a place where strangers can disagree without becoming enemies.
We built a seedbed where visitors can literally plant something for humanity.

And we opened the gate.

Free.

Because some experiences should not belong only to those who can afford them.

But keeping that gate open takes more than sunlight and rain.

Every flower planted, every poem hung among the vines, every sculpture, gathering, experiment, and new corner of awakening requires someone who believes that places like this should exist.

Perhaps that someone is you.

Your gift doesn’t simply support a garden.

It keeps an idea alive.

An idea that beauty still matters.
That wisdom still matters.
That conversation still matters.
That our humanity is still worth cultivating.

Give a little. Give a lot. Give because something here touched you.

Help us keep the light alive.

And together, let us see what humanity can grow.
